ZealousQuest features 10 levels each of which you must find and return the star to your castle. You may control the archer with the "W, A, D" Keys or the "Arrow" Keys, in order to activate certain buttons or kill enemies, you may shoot with the Left Click, or Spacebar. During the levels you may come across three power-ups Super-Jump, Invulnerability, and Haste. At any point during the game you may Pause it with "P", when the game is paused you will be able to read a detailed walkthrough on how to complete the level if you are stuck.

Purchase upgrades to increase the power, precision, velocity, and capacity properties of your turret, along with various others.

Auxiliary Features a Campaign containing forty levels, five Challenges, and four cinematics. Your goal is to survive the onslaught of fifteen enemy types utilizing four contrivances, each with their own weapon compatibilities. You salvage scrap parts by destroying enemies, which are used to upgrade your contrivances, projectiles, and bunker.

This game features 26 unique levels, the last one will repeat from level 27 onwards, once you reach level 27 every new level the enemies will become stronger and stronger until you can no longer defend against them. There are 8 enemy types: Light Tank, Twin Light Tank, Medium Tank, Rapid Medium Tank, Heavy Tank, Stealth Tank, Nuclear Tank, Artillery.
